LifesCanvas NationalParks GrandCanyon 022What's on your bucket list?  At the top of my list are the National Parks of course!  I don't know of a better way to spend a vacation than to visit a National Park.  Living just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway is a choice I made a long time ago, and I'm very glad I did.  But making a conscious effort to vacation at a National Park takes some real planning.

Seen here on the left is Ohlmstead Point in Yosemite National Park.  This National Park still has me shaking my head, aw-struck at its beauty. To take in the enormity and grandeur of Yosemite, you'll find yourself throwing your head back as far as it can go, just to see the tops of these mountains.

Seen on the right is another truly gorgeous National Park - The Grand Canyon.  Here you'll be looking out and, if you don't have a queasy stomach, down!  There are plenty of places to climb out and really enjoy this amazing place, but be very careful!

LifesCanvas NationalParks BlueRidgeParkway 016The Blue Ridge Parkway just happens to be withing spittin distance of my doorstep - which is by design.  Not only do I hop on the Parkway on a regular basis, but now have several photos depicting the changes that take place from wind, rain, snow, and other storms that shake the mountains every year.
