Calendar Time!

It's that time of year again when I take what I consider to be my best pictures from the year and compile them into a calendar. What makes these calendars so unique? Every year I include between 30 and 40 photos in the calendar, and not just a single picture for each month of the year. I like creating these calendars because it helps me see if my skills as an amateur photographer have improved from one year to the next. It also helps me take different photos instead of focusing on the same subject year after year.
Visiting places on my "bucket list" is a great way of adding new and interesting images to the calendar each year. This year, I was fortunate enough to visit Wine Country in Northern California, Yosemite National Park, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Wine country images won't be seen on this year's calendar, but I do continue to enjoy the bottles of wine that jumped in my luggage for the trip back home. Being able to visit two National Parks in one year was very
special to me.
This will be the Fifth Annual Calendar I have created. While I don't include the 2008 calendar images on the website, I do include images that were used from all previous calendars. Click on any of the links to view images from years past. Remember - when you order a calendar you also get a
free 5x7 print of any image on our website. Banner images will not look right on 5x7 paper, so be sure to select your free print from anywhere else on the website.
Right now, I have selected 95 images for the 2012 Calendar. Obviously that's WAY too many images, but I always make a first cut and then whittle away at the images until I get 35-40 images placed in the new calendar. Click the link below to see what might (or might not) make the 2012 Calendar.
